Group: Member Post Group: Private Posts: 10 Status: Hi Jeff !!!!	Male rock has to be the late Brad Delp from Boston, he sang all backup vocals as well as lead vocals on Boston's first album. Female rock has to be Ann Wilson from Heart.

Did you see where Boston just got it's new lead singer from....he was working at a Home Depot...never been in a band before...he had a video from one of his karaoke performances on his Myspace page...Tommy Sholtz's wife was watching it....Sholtz thought she was listening to an actual Boston tune with Delp singing...then his wife said, "no...it's some guy doing karaoke to one of your songs" ....the rest is history....he's on tour with them now.....they are supposed to be recording a new album with the guy later this year......lucky stiff.... -----------------------

Yeah, I\'m extremely late for the conversation... but I thought I\'d let you all know I\'m still here. Lurking. Horribly. My vote for the best male voice goes for Mikkel Sandager, lead singer of Mercenary. Multiple octaves AND powerful with a good amount of control and technical skill. (Find their song \"Sharpen the Edges\", and you\'ll see) Best female voice goes to Origa, hands down. The woman\'s got a set of pipes that could make a grown man cry. (Look for the songs \"Serenata\", \"Moon\", \"Rain\", \"Inner Universe\", or \"Rise\") -----------------------
